Pentlandite
Grains of pentlandite is included in this rock from Lainejaur. There are also a lot of pyrrhotite in this rock.
As a gift from Ingemar Johansson.
Size 6x4x3 cm.

Halite
Massive halite from a salt mine in Poland.
A gift from Slobodan Jaric.
Size 5x2.5x2.5 cm.

Hemimorphite and Smithsonite
A very nice specimen with a number of hemimorphite crystals on a bed of yellowish green smithsonite.
From Mexico.
I got it as a gift from Tord Andersson.
Size 7x4x3.5 cm.

I sent some graphite to Professor Jaszczak, Michigan and got a very nice package back.

Grünerite
Suns of radiating grünerite crystals.
This rock comes from the McLeod Mine, 9300' level, 7450E 2150N, Wawa, Ontario, USA.
3x2x1 cm.

Diamond
This is sythetic diamonds in a capsule. It's been manufactured by General Electric in 1961. Crystals are in the size of 0.15 to 0.5 mm and have a olive green color. There are at least one twinned crystal.

Graphite
This is a real nice sample of spherical graphite. Sitting in snow white calcite is a perfect 2 mm sphere of gray graphite.
From Highway 507, South of Gooderham, Glamorgan Twp., Ontario, Canada.
1.5x1.3x1 cm.

Tremolite
White to pale green actinolite needles in a rock from Geispfadsee, Binntal, Switzerland.
8x4.5x2 cm.

Fluorite
A bluish green fluorite crystal with no apparent crystal faces. There are small amounts of some other minerals present.
It shows a nice blue fluorescense in both SW and LW UV-light.
From William Wise Mine, Westmoreland, New Hampshire, USA.
4x2x2 cm.

Mellite
A single pale yellow crystal of mellite. The crystal is mostly undamaged, but one side is missing. There are only traces left of the host rock.
From Russia, probably from Malowka, Tula.
9x7x5 mm.

Jeremejevite
There are three small patches of blue jeremejevite on this rock. There are some crystal faces but you need a microscope to examine it.
From Namibia.
3x2x1 cm, biggest grain 4 mm.

Gold
A single gold grain in quartz.
From Michigan Gold Mine #6, near Ishpeming, Michigan, USA
1x1x0.5 cm, 1.5 mm gold grain.

Copper
A nice sample of brownish copper with datolite crystals in small balls, epidote and microcline.
From Calidonia mine, Mass City, Ontonagon County, Michigan, USA.
5x3x2.5 cm.
