Minerals bought during the Northern Scandinavian trip -99

As usual we pass by some fair when we are on our journeys. This time we
found it in Bardu, Norway. We stayed at the fair for about four hours before we continued to the Bardu mineral museum. It was a good opportunity to meet a lot of interesting peoples in the mineral trade and Eli made the best out of introducing me to all I should know. ... If I bought some minerals ? ..... well look for your self :-) |

Two epidote crystals in quartz. The crystals shows a good form, but they have no terminations left. It comes from Möre, Norway Bought from Egil Andreasson, Sörvik. |

A very nice dark brownish red zircone in a biotite matrix. The crystal is mostly undamaged and the only thing that keeps it from being clear is internal fracturing. From Seiland, Norway. Bought on the fair. (Size 6x4x3.5 cm, crystal 2.8x2.0x1.8 cm) |
