Minerals bought during the trip to Jämtland -99

There is a small rock shop in the middle of Huså. It is located in a small red house. The shop is in the bottom floor.
In the attic there is a large exhibition donated by Olle Näslin.
If you happen to be in the area, why take the trip up to Huså to see the collection.

Chrysoberyl, Glaucodot, Spinel, Trolleite

Chrysoberyl
Chrysoberyl from Kolsva, Västmanland, Sweden
The chrysoberyl lies as a light green mass in massive beryl. There is also some quartz and biotite in the stone. Bought from Stenshoppen in Huså.

Glaucodote
Glaukodot crystals in a mixture of magnetite and sulfide. The glaucodote crystals are badly damaged but a number of crystal surfaces are visible.
From Håkansboda, Västmanland, Sweden.
Bought from Stenshoppen in Huså.
Collected by Olle Näslin in 1977.

Spinel
Pink spinel crystals in calcite. The crystals are small and isn't so well developed. Almost as rounded grains.
From the Barva limestone quarry, Södermanland, Sweden.
Bought from Stenshoppen in Huså.
Collected by Olle Näslin in 1983.

Trolleite
Green trolleite as a ring around some brown rutile, all in bluish kyanite quartzite.
Bought from Stenshoppen in Huså.
Collected by Olle Näslin in 1989.
