This is a list of minerals I got through barting or as gifts. When I went to Östersund I was told I would get an anatase crystal if I could bring some epidote. I think I took almost all epidote I had and put it into the bag. When I came to Östersund I met a lot of nice people and they took care of me over the weekend. One of the fantastic things about this hobby is that you meet so much nice people. |

| Anatas, Natrolite, Stilbite, Pyrite Rutile Adularia |

I got a nice rock with an anatase crystal in quarts from Börje Sehlberg. When I got my new stone splitter this was one of the first rocks I started with. The result is shown here, a nice specimen with an adamantine anatase in a small cavity. The crystal is so shiny it is hard to capture on a picture, but it is there, almost in the middle of the picture. |

From Salsbruk, Norway. I got it as a gift from Rolf Emriksson, Frösön. This is probably a variety of orthoclase called adularia. I'm a little unshure of the identification of this specimen, but it's not heavy enough to be baryte and the hardness is about feldspar, below quartz. |

I got a sample of natrolite from Fröå. This is now a protected site so no more collecting could be done here. There are small bursts of natrolite needles. Most of them are damaged, but some groups are pretty good. The crystals are thin and fragile. I got it as a gift from Börje Sehlberg. |

From Tången near Lilla Blåsjön. The picture isn't very good. In real life the rutile is brownish red with a very nice sparcle. It doesn't show any crystal faces, but it has a very good cleavage so it is easy to see that all rutile belongs to the same crystal. I got it as a gift from Rolf Emriksson, Frösön. |

A gift from Rolf Emriksson. Found in ???? This is a peculiar formation. A ball of pyrite that's formed in some black schish. This ball was one of a group in a plate of schist, until it fell to the flor and broke. The whole surface concists of crystal faces, showing both pyramidal and cubic form. The biggest crystal is about 1.5 cm across. |

I got this fantastic sample of stilbite from Börje Sehlberg. It comes from Fröå where collecting isn't allowed any more. It consists of hundreds of small pale stilbite blades. |
