Kopparberg Mineral Fair 2000

In the spring I was in the position of being able to buy shares in Telia or to visit the mineral fair in Kopparberg. After a couple of days I decided to make a visit on the mineral fair.
I haven't regret that decision yet, Telia started to fall in a week and hasn't stopped yet. At least, my new mineral haven't lost their value yet!

A special thank to the members of Bergslagens Geologiska Sällskap which have worked hard for the mineral fair to be possible.
And of course, all nice people that came to the fair. Without dealers or visitors there is no fair.

Gifts and barted minerals

Corundum from Värmland
One thing happening when you visit most collectors is that you start trading and giving minerals away and this trip wasn't any different as any other.
Here is a list of what I got.

Corundum, cassiterite, spodumen, ludwigite, heterosite, nickeline, gersdorffite.

Bought minerals

Calcite from Malmberget
On a mineral fair you have to buy minerals, and today was no exception to this rule.
I shared a table with Jan Thelin, but most of the time I was walking around buying minerals and talking with people.
