Crystal form Cubic. Usually rombdodecaedric or ikosatetraedric crystals.
Luster glas.
Description  
Habitat Appears in serpentines that contains chromium.
Associates Chromium diopside, chromium tremolite.
Notes Named after the Russian count S.S.Uvarov 1786-1855.
Locations A rare mineral with only one known locality in Sweden.
