Habitus As long slender prismatic crystals. Also as needle like to fibric aggregates (asbesthos).
Cleavage Fragile with two perfect cleavages in 124 degrees angle.
Hardness 5.5-6
Density 2.9
Color Often pale grayish green to white.
Streak  
Luster Vitreous. Silky at fibric variants.
Description  
Occurance In scarn in metamorph rocks, especially dolomites and talky schists.

Locations A common mineral in many mines, especially in Bergslagen.
