Occurance In pegmatites.
Associates Alluaudite, Lepidolite, Tourmaline.
Notes Type locality : Hagendorf, Waidhaus, Oberpfalz, Bayern (Bavaria), Germany.
First described in 1954.
Locations A rare mineral in Sweden.
  • Varuträsk, Västerbotten. Earlier described under the name varulite, it is now found to be hagendorfite. Found as fine grained olive-green nodules. Commonly partly transformed into alluaudite. Often mixed with tourmaline and lepidolite.
  • Norrö pegmatite, Stockholm archipelago.
