Krångfors


DESCRIPTION

The krångfors field is an area containing a couple of arsenic pyrite veins with a gold contents up to 300g/ton. It was discovered in the 1860:s, forgotten and rediscovered about 1900 by Petrus Burman.

Pyrite

Pyrite together with some black sulphide. It could be a weathering product, since I didn't have more tools than a hammer when I collected it. It was in the center of a quartz rock about 30 cm big.
