Granmuren pegmatite -97

The pegmatite near Granmuren wasn't easy to find, since I managed to leave the page with the map of the location at home. But after some trial and error among the roads VSV of Sala I found it.
The pegmatite lies to the left of a forest road near the farm Hylla. It's impossible to miss it from the road. The quarry (about 5x30 m) lies to the left (east???) of the road and the small dump lies on the right side. The road ends with a barrier just after the quarry.

Mineral assemblage

Albite, Asphaltite, Oligoclase, Quartz.

Rock crystal
Quartz, rock crystal.

Asphaltite
Asphaltite with a double terminated rock crystal.
The asphaltite is abundant in the numerous holes in the pegmatite. It is easy to find rock crystals together with asphaltite.

Albite
Albite crystals with asphaltite.
The crystals shows a high degree of twinning. They are up to 4 mm in size.

Oligoclase
A reddish brown variety of oligoclase with no crystal faces visible.
It is fluorescent in a blue white tone over most of the stone. There is a greenish spot in UV that's no different from the rest of the stone in normal light.
